In 1919, Parthenis was entrusted with the iconography of the church of Agios Alexandros in Paleo Faliro. In 1920, his first major exhibition was held in Zappeion with more than 240 paintings.
Το 1919, ανατέθηκε στον Παρθένη η αγιογράφηση του ναού του Αγίου Αλεξάνδρου στο Παλαιό Φάληρο. Το 1920 πραγματοποιήθηκε η πρώτη μεγάλη έκθεσή του στο Ζάππειο με περισσότερους από 240 πίνακες.
